Leadership

Mr. Zhang Ning is the founder and CEO of Greenfield. He used to work for China National Chemical Construction Corp. (member of China National Offshore Oil Corp., CNOOC) responsible for domestic implementation of Montreal Protocol in China.

In late 2007, he quit from TÜV Rheinland Group at the position of China Manager of Business Development and GHG auditor, and established the Greenfield with his friends. He was also assigned as lead GHG auditor and external expert in 2008 by TÜV Rheinland Japan which is accredited by United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) as Designated Operational Entity (DOE).

Ning is holding master's degree of environmental management (MEM) at University of New South Wales (UNSW) and bachelor's degree of engineering at Beijing University of Technology. His full biography is available at: http://cn.linkedin.com/in/zhangn.

 

Our Logo (2007-2009)

The logo presents the picture of mountain, grassland and river, with the company slang - "Maximise your environmental capitals". It was used from March 2007 to September 2009.

The cycle design expresses perfection. This is because cycle sometimes implies "full". In Chinese, perfection is " yuán mǎn" (cycle-full).

 

Our Logo (present)

The shape of current logo is the capital letter of "G" of Greenfield. It is designed like a jade pendant. Jade has a history in China of at least four thousands years. It is associated with merit, morality, grace and dignity. The color is from the most famous Chinese blue and white porcelain.

There are some icons within our logo: sun, moon, stars, ocean, mountains, bird, fish, cloud, herbs, and people. All of them together makes the natural system and the harmony of nature and human towards sustainability, which is our vitality and value.

Chinese artist, Mr. Feng Yi, produced icons according to ancient and prehistoric cave paintings and designed the new identity for us.
