Project Service

Greenfield Project Service helps our clients in planning, development and execution of carbon projects.

A carbon project refers to a initiative of the cut of greenhouse gases emission. Usually, a carbon project receives funding support because the project will result in real, permanent, verifiable reductions in GHGs.

Our clients develop carbon projects for reasons of voluntary environmental stewardship, as well as legal compliance under GHG cap-and-trade programs. Greenfield therefore follows both world-wise recognized carbon standards, for example Kyoto mechanisms, and voluntary carbon standard (VCS).

Carbon Project Planning & Desing
Greenfield has rich experience in preparing carbon project design report in which following information must be well demonstrated: baseline identification and emissions, additionality, and estimated emission reductions.
Monitoring
Monitoring the emission reductions by carbon projects is a key to participate in carbon market and to assess the effectiveness of reductions. Greenfield is expertise to develop and implement monitoring plan, and to prepare monitoring report.

Validation & Verification Support
In most of cap-and-trade carbon schemes and voluntary market, the proposed carbon project shall be validated by an approved third party, and the monitoring report shall be verified as well. Greenfield supports our clients to receive such validation and verification in order make the project registered or ensure the carbon credits issued.
Special Services
There may be different requirements during carbon project development according to different standards and the credit buyers. Greenfield is similar with such special requirements and supports our clients in line with the rules and standards.
