The Centre for Sustainability (TCS) was established by one of Greenfield co-founder in 2006 and was merged with Greenfield in 2010. Now, TCS is the innovation center of Greenfield. One of objectives of TCS is to support Greenfield developing solutions to address climate risks facing to the businesses, governments, and any other type of organizations. Part of research results and our ideas are listed below.

  Title: Climate Practice - A Core Course for Chinese Enterprises' Development

Summary: We pointed that Chinese enterprises cannot get leadership in global economy if they ignore the impact of climate practice. We also suggest that Chinese enterprises achieve their GHG targets by the steps of measuring, managing, improving and innovating.

  Title: The Way for China Auto Industry Leading to Sustainability

Summary: Firstly, we identified internal and external climate risks that Chinese auto manufacturers are facing, and then gave the methodologies to assess and evaluate these risks. We also gave the brief introduction of methodologies to know the corporate emissions and product carbon footprint. Finally, we introduced the Ford case study on GHG management to Chinese managers.

  Title: Corporate Climate Strategy & ISO 14064 at Greenfield-TÜV Rheinland GHG Management Workshop, Chengdu and Chongqing

Summary: This presentation was delivered to audiences from Chinese industries, such as semiconductor, cement, automobile, and consulting services. We shared our thinking of corporate climate strategy - how to identify climate risks and further to manage and mitigate such risk, and introduced the ISO standards related to GHG accounting.

  Title: Post-Copenhagen Observation at International Workshop on Clean Technology and Carbon Market Innovation, Beijing

Summary: We shared our observation of Copenhagen COP-15 and our thinking of carbon policy and market trends post-Copenhagen. We analyzed the American attitude and the Chinese solutions. Also we introduced the Copenhagen Accord and pointed out its deficiencies and impacts to the future carbon market.

  Title: Carbon Market & CDM Risk Management at EU-China CDM Facilitation Project's Regional Workshop, Sichuan Province

Summary: We shared our experiences in CDM development and knowledge of international carbon market. We pointed that the current demonstration of project-based additionality is insufficient and practicable. We suggest that EB consider both project-based and peformance additionalities. We also gave our idea and suggestions on EB reforming.
